Our recommendations for choosing the best laptops under Rs 35,000:

Firstly, if gaming is your primary objective for getting a new laptop, we recommend adding Rs 5,000 more to your budget and getting something more powerful. That said, laptops under Rs 35,000 should be able to offer more than adequate power for your daily needs whether you’re a student or an office going professional.

8th gen Core i5 and Ryzen 2500U are the best CPUs in this budget, but you’ll find very limited models having one. Core i3 is the next obvious choice. Try to get an 8th or 7th generation processor at least.

Unless you can get your hands on the 940MX, in terms of graphics card, Vega 8 is the best card under Rs 35,000 that can offer a decent entry-level gaming experience. The M530, 920M and the M430 offer entry-level gaming performance but should be good for designing software.

If you’re a multitasker and tend to have a lot of applications open at one point (or tabs in Chrome) get a machine with 8GB RAM. Newer models come with DDR4 RAM, while older ones still feature DDR3. Needless to say, DDR4 is faster and more efficient. However, the real-life difference might not be that apparent. Also, most of the laptops offer expandable RAM so you can always upgrade at a later point).

14 inch laptops are easy to carry and offer adequate screen estate. However, if you don’t mind going bigger, 15.6-inch displays add to the movie watching experience. Also, 1080p displays are a treat.

Based on your priorities, you can pick on these laptops, since they are the best ones you’ll find under 35k. Happy shopping.
