5 Better Phones than the OnePlus 5T that are Cheaper

oneplus5t

OnePlus 5T is a great phone and there are no second doubts about that. However, it’s been a while since the phone was released and in the meantime, the competition hasn’t been sitting idle. Given the hyper-competition in the market, quite a few manufacturers have caught up to the OnePlus 5T and are offering similar, if not better, specs for the same, if not lower, asking price. Others have simply reduced the price of their existing offering to match OnePlus’ mouth watering price.

We’ve compiled a list of 5 phones that we believe are better than the OnePlus 5T, but cost less. You’ll find OnePlus on the top as a reference. So here goes our list.

0. OnePlus 5T

oneplus 5t

What’s good:
The evolved version of OnePlus 5T now sports a larger 18:9 display in the same body. The cameras have been improved too and there are two of these on the back. Then OnePlus is known for flagship level hardware including top of the line processor, RAM, and internal memory.

What could have been better:
We understand their decision to go with 1080p display, but a 2K display wouldn’t have looked bad.

Moto Z2 Force

What’s good:
Another reliable phone from Motorola’s stables that’s been packed with all the bells and whistles this budget demands. First things that come to mind are a QHD display, 6GB RAM, dual cameras and a shatterproof screen.

What could have been better:
We wish it came with Android 8.0 out of the box. The battery while not small, isn’t exactly large either.

No complains when it comes to the specs and the asking price.

4. Xiaomi Mi Mix 2

best phones under 40000 - mi mix 2

What’s good:
Mi Mix 2 seems like an underdog. It’s one of the most good looking phones available in the market, has specs similar to the OnePlus, but doesn’t get enough credit. It comes with top of the line processor, has rather too much RAM and storage and a near bezel-less design.

What could have been better:
Xiaomi decided to stick with a 1080p+ display on this one instead of the more popular 2K in this segment. Also, the front camera seems to be mediocre when looking at the specs.

5. Honor 8 Pro

honor-8

What’s good:
Talking in terms of specs, the Honor 8 Pro is a much better buy than the OnePlus 5. Why? Because it’s got a 2K display, more internal memory, same RAM and a bigger battery for a considerably lower price. This is flagship material phone and at this price, honestly it’s a steal.

What could have been better:
If for the same price, get the Honor 10 View instead. Period.
