Which is the best TV under 20000 in India?

If you’re looking for an LED TV under 20k, you’ve landed in the right spot since we’ve made a list of the best TVs under Rs 20,000 for this month available in India under different sizes. Television prices have plummeted in recent years and you can find really good TVs under 20k these days. We’re talking about TVs as big as 43 inches. Of course, there are 40-inch and 32-inch models available under Rs 20,000 too. What’s more, many of these are smart TVs.

While some of these aren’t big names like Samsung or Sony Bravia, they offer excellent features for the asking price. We’ve spoken about these brands at the bottom of the post.

Also, we’re only covering LED televisions and not LCD or plasma and all these models are 32 inches and above. Our criteria have been pretty simple – for well-reputed brands like Panasonic, Samsung, LG, and Philips, we have picked all models irrespective of screen resolution. For less known brands such as Micromax, Vu, and BPL, we’ve only picked TVs with full HD displays.

Also, check the best 32 inch Smart TVs under Rs 15,000. So here goes the list of top LED televisions under 20k in India.

About the brands:

Chances are you’ve never heard about half these brands ever, making it difficult to put your trust in one before making the purchase. While we can’t vouch for the quality, here’s a quick overview of the less known ones.

Vu: An Indian brand that started its operations a couple of years back when they launched their products on Flipkart. Since then, the television maker has sold millions of TVs across different sizes and have gained the trust of Indians. The reviews on Flipkart speak for themselves.

TCL: TCL is a well known Chinese brand that sells its products in countries like the US and in Europe. At least their top of the line televisions are often praised by leading tech journalists on sites like Engadget and CNET.

Marq: Marq is Flipkart’s own brand of home appliances. While the brand is relatively new and chances are that much of the stuff they sell is imported from China or assembled locally, the reliability of the Flipkart brand name adds credence to this brand.

iFFALCON: Chinese brand that was spun off from TCL a few years ago. Tencent has a major holding in the company. Also, it still makes components for TCL

Thomson: French brand owned by Technicolor SA. Not a new player, but new to India for sure. Although, the TVs sold by them in India are manufactured by local players (Super Plastronics) and they licence their brand to these players

Mi: Xiaomi needs no introductions. The well known Chinese brands has created a huge market for itself in the smartphone segment, but they also make tons of other electronics, TVs being one of them.

Kodak: You know the brand, but did you know it’s been licensed by Noida-based Super Plastronics? Well, you know now. Just so you know, originally Kodak has never sold televisions.

Cloudwalker: Indian startup (it’s good to see Indian companies giving competition to Chinese players) running its operations from Mumbai. Hey, go check their reviews too. We think they make decent TVs.
